Resurrecting Rodriquez

I am not one into documentaries, but I have learned of one recently that is out called "Searching for Sugar Man". It is about the unknown superstar (Yes I know that is an oxymoron) Rodriquez.

"You're Not Special"

A very special friend of mine sent me this graduation speech by a teacher in Boston. He  reminded the graduates that there are many people around our country just like them. Click here and listen to the very unique speech.

I Was Moved

I was approached today by a very sharp sophomore student in the last period  of the day. She had been after me to watch this video, but I had been putting it off. Finally we had a minute at the end of the hour so I said okay lets watch it. Here it is, I was moved.

Our basketball philosophy revolves around fundamentals,  hard work, and participation.  We want to spend time perfecting a process by which all athletes can better their performance, increase self-esteem, and have fun.

Team Goals Every Game

·         60 Shots a game

·         Rebound 40% of our missed shots

·         Force our opponents into 30 turnovers

·         Get 30 more shot attempts then our opponents.

·         Every player play at a meaningful and critical point of the game
