Home
Yesterday I started to make a slow turn back,49-47-44 and I broke my old driver (by accident). It was a good day and I plan to play later tonight. Today though I am making a pilgrimage to the homeland. To the town where I was born and raised. I will see my parents grave sights and my old house. I also plan on seeing the Benson family cemetery up on the Iowa-Minnesota border.
I had a neighborhood friend overdose about this time last year and I need to stop and see his family, drive through town, and come home.
Yes Jesup is my home now.

Weekend Total
A forty and forty-five today, eighty-five. 84 yesterday 85 today extremely happy with that 169 for two days. The putter and the driver was finally consistent and I walked off happy for the two days of golf. The course needs rain really bad. All my clubs are fifteen to twenty yards longer because of the roll.
Second day of league is Monday, I shot a 47 my first league night. Lost 6.5 to 3.5 points.
I look forward to a lot of golf this summer.

Day One
Summer break started today at 4:30 a.m. A great start with a walk down the river road at about sunup, it was wonderful. A friend then brought out his pickup and we went to an Amish mans house. He had contacted me the night before letting me know he has finished an entry bench he had built me. It fit into my house perfect.
After that we went to an auction where they were making pancakes, we ate until we could not move.
Then we went golfing. It was as well as I had played for a long time. I found an old friend in my driver. after hitting it with no purpose the least week, I got out my old driver and was in the middle all day. 42-42 starting the round with a sandy par on one. Not only did my driver find the fare way but my putter showed up as well.
It is all about confidence and I had confidence in that old driver. Thanks RC for the tip.
